This role is responsible for delivering electrical engineering services, monitoring process and providing engineering support to the Energy business in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the new energy business by supervising site activities, monitoring work progress, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Design, construct and maintain engineering facilities and equipment.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to prepare technical specifications, work scope, project costing, project plan and tender documents.
  • Manage contractors and vendors to ensure efficient and cost-effective performance of assigned activities while upholding business principles.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with business specifications, the Company’s HSSE, and statutory requirements for engineering and maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical advice and engineering support to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in EV charging and other new energy technologies and engineering.

Requirements:

  • University graduate in electrical, electronic, mechanical, building services, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering or a similar role.
  • Grade A Registered Electrical Worker or above is preferred.
  • Sound understanding of EV charging infrastructure and related electrical systems.
  • Proven experience in managing contractors and ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Good understanding of local regulations and Code of Practices
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with contractors and internal teams.
  • Possess project management skills in an organized manner.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in using computer software such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, AutoCad, etc.
