LPG Characteristic

LPG releases almost no suspended particles and soot during the combustion process. The total carbon dioxide emissions per megajoule (MJ) of LPG throughout the entire life cycle* is 0.0715 kilograms. The carbon footprint of LPG is 10% lower than heating oil, and 50% lower than coal.

* The entire life cycle includes material extraction, manufacturing, transportation and use of LPG.

How Do We Support Sustainable Living?

DSG Energy participated in CLP Wind Farms (India) Private Limited – Saundatti Wind Farm wind power carbon offset programme to offset the LPG of DSG GAS Cassette Gas, which is equivalent to offsetting 0.875 kilograms carbon footprint of each bottle. The electricity generated from Saundatti Wind Farm programme can power more than 31,000 households in India, avoid releasing over 144,900 tons of CO2e per year.

DSG Energy is the First Supplier to Launch Cassette Gas Bottle Recycle Scheme.

Education and support on cassette gas bottle recycling is insufficient in the market. Through the Cassette Gas bottle Recycle Scheme, we hope to provide proper disposal solutions to the market and invite the community to join us, contributing to the society by recycling the used DSG Gas Cassette Gas bottles. We will then pass the recycled cylinder bodies and caps to collector or recycle companies registered under the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department for processing.
