DSG Energy once again wins the “Sustainable Procurement Award” at Hong Kong Green Awards 2022
DSG Energy is proud to be awarded the “Sustainable Procurement Award (SME) – Supplier Engagement” at the Hong Kong Green Awards 2022 of the Green Council.
Since 2018, DSG Energy has been on a journey driving sustainable development along our value chain based on sustainability framework targeting four key areas: Climate Change & Energy Transition, Safety & Environmental Protection, People & Social, and Governance & Compliance, applying across all business activities, including our suppliers and contractors.
In 2021, we have built a strong foundation on sustainable procurement and awarded Sustainable Procurement Award (SME) – Supplier Engagement. To maintain a solid ground and build a long-term sustainable journey in achieving net zero emissions in 2050, we continuously educate internal and external stakeholders to incorporate sustainability elements across procurement process. In addition, we proactively deployed a series of actions, such as reducing Scope 1 and 2 carbon emission by switching logistics fleet and Engineering vehicle fleet to 100% using Bio-diesel; reducing consumption of water, waste and packaging through the increase procurement of green/energy efficient alternative; 100% Compliance on No human rights breaches in our business and our supply chains; including life cycle costing in tender evaluation; and utilizing sustainability material on corporate tee and uniform, demonstrating the effort from the dedicated team.
As a key player in the LPG industry, we will continue to drive sustainable procurement and encourage energy transition from diesel to LPG in the industrial segment.
