DSG Energy wins the Hong Kong Green Awards “Sustainable Procurement Awards” for third consecutive year
19 December 2023, Hong Kong – DSG Energy Limited (“DSG Energy”) is proud to announce that it has won the “Sustainable Procurement Award (SME) – Procurement Governance” at the Hong Kong Green Awards 2023 for the third consecutive year, reaffirming its unwavering commitment and contribution to sustainable procurement.
Sustainability lies at the core of DSG Energy’s operations and procurement. Since 2018, DSG Energy has embarked on a journey to drive sustainable business. We have developed sustainable framework comprising four key areas, including Climate Change & Energy Transition, Safety & Environmental Protection, People & Social, and Governance & Compliance. The sustainability framework applies to all business activities, including suppliers and contractors, to foster the sustainable procurement development.
To demonstrate our commitment to sustainable business practices, DSG Energy has not only launched the Sustainability Guideline to drive lifestyle changes, but also formulated a series of proactive measures to reduce carbon footprint, including 100% using biodiesel for all logistics fleet and engineering vehicle fleet, as well as opting for sustainable materials for the corporate uniform.
Moving forward, DSG Energy will continue to place a strong emphasis on sustainable procurement. We will proactively educate internal and external stakeholders to incorporate sustainability elements across procurement process, thereby contributing to sustainable future.
