Chinese Style Pan-Fried Salmon

Ingredients:
• 1 salmon steak
• 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
• Cornstarch as needed
• 2 bunches of cilantro
Sauce:
• 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
• 1 teaspoon of sugar
• 2 teaspoons of cooking wine
• 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce
• 3 tablespoons of water
Steps:
1. Rinse and pat the salmon steak dry. Season with salt and pepper before putting in fridge for at least 30 minutes.
2. Cover the salmon with cornstarch. Heat oil on high heat, change to medium-low heat and add in the salmon. Pan fry until both sides are golden.
3. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and water.
4. Take out the salmon and remove the excess oil in the pan. Put the salmon back in, along with the sauce and cilantro. Continue to cook on medium heat until the sauce thickens.
